Save the Date for our 10th Annual CRPS Patient and Carer Information Day

Burning Nights CRPS Support are excited to invite you to the CRPS Patient and Carer Information Day 2024, where we will be celebrating the 10th anniversary of this flagship event for the Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) community.

The event will take place on Saturday 16th November 2024 during CRPS Awareness Month. Join us at the Hilton Northampton for a day filled with valuable insights, connection, and empowerment.

Following the success of last year’s event, we will be bringing together patients, families, carers and friends for another day of community, in-person support and learning.

This is an unmissable chance to meet other patients, carers, healthcare professionals and legal experts. You can share your experiences and connect with others who truly understand the journey of living with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome.

We know living with CRPS can feel so isolating, but you don’t have to go through it alone: the Burning Nights CRPS community is here for you, and we’d love to see you.

What do we have planned for you?

We’re focusing on what matters most - supporting and connecting with our community. Here’s what you can expect:

Morning Session: Professionals and expert speakers will share practical advice, treatment options, and the latest research on living with and managing CRPS.

Afternoon Session: Enjoy an open forum and networking opportunities. You’ll have the chance to ask questions directly to healthcare and legal professionals. Our speakers will visit each table, encouraging open dialogue and personal connections. It’s a unique chance to meet others who truly understand what you’re going through.

What have previous attendees said about the event?

“It was great to meet so many people who actually know what the condition is like. The experts were full of information. Would recommend you attend.”

“It was brilliant to hear about all the different treatment options available and schemes I can access to help me manage. Sometimes you feel like you’re on your own with CRPS so it was really great to spend the day with people who did understand.”

“We’ve been to them all. It’s kept us up to date with medical advances on CRPS, we meet friendly faces and you’ll always learn something new at each conference.”

“The information from the experts is really good. The opportunity to speak to them afterwards is really good as well.”

“I thought the doctor was amazing, I thought what he had to say was really really good and interesting. It’s hard to get doctors who listen and understand. It’s nice to meet people who are in the same situation.”

“Sometimes in the community you feel like you’re the only parent with a child with this condition and you don’t know where to go, who to turn to. To have somebody to talk to who understands what you’re saying is amazing.”

“Thank you for such a great day. I learnt so much and got so much out of the day. We would love to attend again in the future.”

About Burning Nights CRPS and Complex Regional Pain Syndrome

Burning Nights CRPS Support has been dedicated to helping those affected by Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) since 2014. Founded by Victoria Abbot-Fleming, who lives with the condition who personally understands the struggles of CRPS, the charity focuses on education, awareness, and support.

CRPS is a painful condition that impacts 1 in 3,800 people each year, usually triggered by a trauma. Despite its prevalence, it’s not well understood. Burning Nights CRPS Support aims to bridge this gap by providing crucial information and support.

In 2022-2023 alone, Burning Nights CRPS Support provided over 4,500 individuals with support from one of our services and over 86,000 people with clear and up-to-date information and trained numerous healthcare professionals. Learn more about the impact of Burning Nights CRPS Support by clicking on the Our Impact page link.

Our goal is to support CRPS patients and their families, ensuring they have the knowledge and resources to navigate their journey.
