Dorsal Root Ganglion (DRG) stimulation is a form of neuromodulation therapy for Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) patients that works in the Dorsal Root Ganglion (DRG) area of the spine. It is similar to the Spinal Cord Stimulator (SCS), but with traditional SCS, approximately 50% of patients over time will lose its effectiveness for pain relief.
The Dorsal Root Ganglion (DRG) Stimulation Information Leaflet is a 24-page booklet that explains what this process involves in the treatment of CRPS, including how it works, the equipment used, which types of CRPS this treatment is for, the route you need to go through for implantation, and more.
